I posted a few days ago about an acetate i recently found in an old store stock collection here in NJ... 10" with no label, only marked 'Problem' in wax crayon. The song is, in my opinion, superb.

Artist? Label? Was this released? If so, was the release the same mix? I have another acetate (latin soul) from the same collection which appears to be from the same studio, or at least, the same pressing plant. I'll try to get a clip of that one up soon...

It's "Never Gonna Let You Go" by Jobell And The Orchestra De Salsa.

Seems like a different take than on the JAN label 7" though...

The released version is faster and has got strings in the background.

The JAN 45 has got the same combination of short version / disco version.

And I seem to remember that the 12" on JAN has just got the "disco version" (the flipside is a tune by Zebra)

Is thee more brass on this mix or is it my memory playing tricks on me again.
