Morning, all,

Can someone advise me what the going rate for a NM stock copy of Jimmy Gilford's "Nobody Loves Me Like My Baby" (Thelma) might sell for these days?

I've seen the book prices for it, and I'd like to see if the asking price would be the same here in the real world ...

...and to repeat a question I put up in another posting and didn't get an answer for, what would a NM stock copy of Bobby Paris' "I Walked Away" fetch?

I'm sure that Pete will have the answers to these questions even if nobody else does...

hi, jimmy gilford in nm condition! never seen one would say £125/£150 because of condition. most you see are vg/ex £75/£100

The stock copies of I Walked Away are much rarer than the demos - therefore, I would take a safe guess at around £200 - 250 for one.

I'd ask 200 for bobby paris - 175 for the demo - but I'm too cheap anyway

thanks for the thought salmon, it was for a mate, managed to get him a mint demo for £200 wich he was very happy with, the stock copy i would put at least £250 based on the price of the demo, never see the stockers

No probs Harry,same with all major label stockers,abc ,rca mgm etc always rarer than the demos,just got rid of a charades dont want to lose you mint stock copy for 100, then saw about 3 demos for 125 upwards
