6 months ago i was really close to watch him on stage as the organizer told me that he had a triple stroke the weekend before. now i heard that he died yesterday.

That's really sad, saw him in New York a few years back playing with a young band. A real character we met up with him coincidentally the next day and were moaning about people talking all the way through his ballads at the gig. So he serenaded my wife with a killer ballad. Another loss :lol:

Truly a great singer,another sad loss

Now he truly was one of my musical heroes for the last 24 years, really shocked and sad. He was here in Berlin just only a year ago.
