any info on these boots and value if any please ?

The Bobby Paris/ H.B. Barnum is almost certainly genuine - released on UK Capitol back in 1979.

re bobby paris i would have thought a minter around £20 dont see it that often,

jay traynor was a reissue from around 1978 no idea on value though

not really mate, both records 5 to 10 quid tops.

I think what missing link meant was that it was that it was a genuine legal issue, which was your original concern ie "kosher" or not.

However, it is not a 1967 original, but a mid/late 70's reissue by Capitol UK, of a US 1967 release.

jay traynor was booted on dcp - black label - originally on Abc m8- about £5...

cheers for the info guys, its much clearer now, i knew the jay traynor orig was on abc but thought it could be one of those obscure boots that can fetch a few quid sometimes ! found em in a old box and thought id inquire, thanks for the help though guys

Yes, that is what I meant. Tamla Motown is an example of a label that put the original date of recording on the label rather than the date of issue - I am presuming that Capitol did the same. Also I think that it is not actually a reissue (this is where we go into semantics) but the first UK issue, though I may be wrong about that.

Yes, that right regarding the Bobby Paris side, first (and therefore Original) UK issue of "I Walked Away". The HBB saw an earlier Capitol (re)issue in the UK - orange label from early 70's.
