I have just got a copy of this on King what do you think if you know the Federal version.

From memory, she only did one 45 on King, all the others being on Federal (and one on Argo).

I think this is a re-cut of the original on Federal, with a straight reissued flip from a different Federal 45.

random info: she was a chicago artist (like many king/federal artists) and the backing singers on her records are the five chances

Tnink it was JUST the Charms you know, not the Five (or 5) Chances but I can't find the facts to substantiate that, just a memory of what I read a few times in the distant past.

Might have been mentioned in the liner notes and session info on the back of the Sing Lp of all her Federal stuff.

my info comes from howard pittman of the 5 chances. maybe they sing on only some of her records, I don't know.

According to Otis Williams and The Charms discography they sang on Tiny Topsy Federal release 12302 Miss You So/Aww Shucks Baby from 1957.

Could be that even though they were actually the 5 (or 4) Chances, they were credited as just the Chances, by design or mistake. Who knows for sure?
