Just wondered if anybody has had a copy or is aware of;

The South Suburban Strings...... Libras really do run it ?............. Nickel.

Its basically the same backing as Do the Pearl girl , with a bit of hammond and no " vocal cheers "

I bought off Keb years back and have just dug it out.

Thanks.. Missed those. At least i know its genuinely obscure Pete hasn't heard it ..

According to the label, it's the 'South Suburan Rythm Section'

No doubt it's a typo?

pete stone has been known to play it out at the Casablanca in Grimsby upon request (and it DOES get plenty of requests, being near cleethorpes and all)

Hi All

I originally had a copy of this from Record Haven on Regent Street in Nottm about 1975/6 (Rob Smith was running the shop to all intents before moving to Hurts Yard.)

Paid £3 for it but then sold it in 1993 at Bretby for about £25, regretted it almost straight away and it took me 14 yrs to get another one yes.gif .

I do play it on a regular basis but I just don't DJ that often now

Coops knows my taste by now I should imagine!!!!!!!!!!!
