Maybe this has been posted before, but how many clubs/happenings are there around the world these days? And by soul scene I mean northern, funk and across the board clubs.

I'll start with Norway:

Oslo Soul Experience (Oslo, across the board)

Contagious (Oslo, mainly 70s and modern)

Doin' it (Oslo, soul, funk, afro...)

Isn`t there also still Winki and Sunny the Dancer regular night...up all night, up beat or sth like that ?

Yes, they are also still at it. But I'm not sure how regularly they put their nights on and what they call it nowadays (One room paradise and Blow up are two I can remember).

But as you already wrote, there's so much stuff going on and a number of nights came into my mind after I'd posted.

And I for one don't know where to draw the line as some are not o.v.o., some are more of a mod event etc......

Also, a lot of nights are put on by people who have little or no connection with the NS scene.

Which invariably leads to a pretty wide range of sounds (within reason, imho) that many on the NS scene would not find acceptable.
