February 19, 200916 yr The Generic One Below. Another Generic Type. I haven't one to hand at the moment, however there were many different sleeves with the Latest Album Releases Printed Around The Sleeve. My copy of Debbie Dean's "Why Am I Loving You" (now there's a classic that deserves a revival!) originally came in the latter black & white, 'Hitsville USA' sleeve, but I think the 'multi-album ad' sleeves were mostly used by the late 60's(?) Bobby Taylor's "Oh, I've Been Blessed" (1970) and Commodores "Human Zoo" came in the latter (blue) versions (I think). You can date 'em from the albums advertised of course, the 'Motown Story' must be after 1971. Edited February 19, 200916 yr by mel brat

There's also a variation on the red phono sleeve that's pictured with the Spinners 45- I've seen it once in a light blue color. Looks very strange when you're used to always seeing it in red. I believe the album cover sleeves came out in late 1966/ early 1967.
