Posted March 6, 200916 yr I know it's tough presently but with a tad of speculation I've had a good week vinyl-wise. The numbers seem to have tumbled with vinyl recently and certain tracks, to me anyhow, seem to be finding their true level.

March 6, 200916 yr I'm not telling you - Alright!!! was actually covered "up as i,ll tell if you tell" by the soul sharers an even rarer demo surfaced that was spelt I'm not telling you-allright this went for the increadable sum of 4,100 pounds whereas the one spelt with the single L was actually 1.99 in wool worths The double LL sold for 41000 was rumoured to have been sold by Barrys best mate who came out with the classic line "i,m having a good week"
March 6, 200916 yr I'll not w*nk myself off in public, let's just say I've had a good week ay? Really? So what is the point of this thread? Where's the evidence/examples?

This is precisely why ebay/popsike prices don't count as a guide It depends on just how people advertise their material "WOW ", sticking that in front of his listings cost him a small fortune And thus, made you feel sick all week in the process

I'd agree with the "frightening prices". Just had a quick look tonight and I saw no bargains. Only time you get something "cheap" is if no one else wants it and if it's in demand it don't matter how many copies are floating about. Last 45 I got was Archie Bell "I can't stop dancing" on a WDJ M-. $10 + $8 postage. That was f**king £12 for a £5 45 if that. ROD
March 7, 200916 yr Author Okay, I'll give you one - a mint George Smith issue for £75. Now , to me that's a bargain, no doubt I'll be told different. And, the point of this thread was light-hearted banter aimed at sparking conversation nothing more.
