  1. embedding is a one setting for the whole site wide thing but the seller can choose whether to embedd or link youtube to link they just highlight the text (say 'click here to listen' ) with mouse and then click the 'link' icon in the text editor and paste the link in teh box giving you click here to listen however the issue is going to be making the sellers aware, firstly of the probs and then how to link suggest that when you have probs you inform the seller that have so and point them to the help feature (link at bottom of every page) where they will find the above

  9. 21 December 2014 - 08:23 PM Hello Soul-Source, My name is Gavin Wissen, I am curator at the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame. We are inducting John Ellison of Soul Brothers Six (born in Montgomery, W.V.) into our Music Hall of Fame in 2015. I am writing to ask if any of your kind knowledgeable members could help us? We need high resolution scans of records labels, posters, advertisements, video clips of performances, anything from Johns and Soul Brothers Six past, that we could use in a short video film to be shown at the induction ceremony (planned for October 2015). I know he did a few concerts over in the UK recently for Soul Source members that he enjoyed immensely. Any help with this project would be greatly appreciated by us all at The WV Music Hall of Fame. Thank you in advance for your help. yours sincerely, Gavin Wissen https://www.wvmusichalloffame.com WV Music Hall Of Fame, 1427 Lee St E, Charleston, WV 25301, U.S.A. 10. a quick pass on of info from Unity Works that has been added to the article by the site and is below mike Unity Works Article ------------------------------------------- Hi Soul Source, I wanted to thank you for the great Article on Unity Works: the support is much appreciated. I would like to point out however that Unity Works is not owned by the council as the article states. Unity is actually a co-operative and it's reopening was only made possible by investment by nearly 400 local Wakefield people. Overall they raised over £4million - something we are understandably proud of! ...what was a four year project just to get the doors open! The share issue will always be open (details here: https://www.unityworks.co.uk/shares/ ) Take care, Thanks, Dean

  14. Posted on youtube via Jackie Wilsons granddaughter... Here's Jackie Wilson (my grandfather) and Shirley Ellis (of The Name Game and The Nitty Gritty fame) singing a rockin' duet together "Gonna Mess Up A Good Thing (Don't Cha Be No Fool)." Included in this video is Dick and Dee Dee singing "Be My Baby." This is a rare footage of Jackie performing with a woman. Jackie is very playful with her, charming, charismatic, playing up to her, proving he could have chemistry with a partner. check the rest of clips out via the youtube link on the player

  19. a chance to see this classic track in its original context as part of the 1966 beach film 'Out of Sight' the whole film is up if wish to watch it up just rewind the clip but its not really that good first jump to 1h14m58secs (the features does this automatically now} and then to 1:16:27 to see the 'live' clips featuring Dobie Gray singing then goto the endsecs to hear/see it over the ending credits Out of Sight is a 1966 beach party film with elements of the spy spoof. It is the third and last of a series of films geared at teenagers by director Lennie Weinrib and producer Bart Patton for Universal Pictures. Perhaps inspired by the success of the American International Pictures' teenage films, as well as Weinrib and Patton's Beach Party knockoff, Beach Ball, Universal and MCA signed a contract in 1965 for the pair to make 14 rock and roll films in a two-year period however, the only ones produced were Wild Wild Winter and this film. Out of Sight features a variety of Universal contract players, musical performances by Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Dobie Gray, Freddie and the Dreamers, The Astronauts, The Turtles and The Knickerbockers provided by music producer Nick Venet, and gadget-laden motor vehicles designed by George Barris. The film's spytime score was composed by Fred Darian (who then managed Dobie Gray) and Al DeLory. The film was written by Larry Hovis a comedian who was then co-starring in Hogan's Heroes.
