its just a sort of "use it if you want" sort of thing by all means use it as well with your usual links if wish at a guess it could encourage more people to have a listen to your shows/podcasts cant see any problems using it as per the normal way you post radio/cats etc as its just a way of framing the link so to speak

its ridiculous people getting confused with record collecting terms and real life if talking about fresh modern day bootlegs then yep by all means bring it up, draw attention to them, it is something that is illegal and a crime but come on banging on about 20-30 year old second hand 45s that may or may not have been bootlegs when first sold is ridiculous the crime was done at the time it was first sold the artist got shafted then, the buyer got wacked then and the bootlegger profited there and then 20 -30 years on surely no one can claim that by someone selling a 20/30 year old second hand possible bootleg 45 a crime is being done or repeated or indeed that this site should take action against people selling such if you do, then by all means post up just where you are coming from

suppose when you think about it thousand pounds of vinyl means squat nowadays a chump dj with a 200 box of tacky boots could be classed as having thousands of pounds worth of vinyl in some worlds

if you got vinyl worth 1000s then why dontcha just play it

direct search been up a week or so now the idea is you can drill down to any track in refosoul in about 5 secs eg type a phrase or word in, wait a second or two, select matching artist or title that shows and away you go have read in past some not actually getting how this works so a shout for feedback on it does it need instructions ? does it work ok for you ? were you aware? do you use it ? and so on

a couple have mentioned that its "hypocritical" for people to complain about bootlegs when such are being sold via dealers on soul source so here's the skinny feel free to post up details of any modern day bootleg 45 (not vinyl carvers or old bootlegs (pre 2009) ) make sure do it under a solid id make sure you post the relevant info why you have come to such conclusion (facts and that sort of thing) and also any action already taken be aware that as there may be legal issues your info does need to be solid and needs to be able to be verified just how many are there ?

you winding me up the only thread can see is this one you using that as a reason to say "not strictly true":lol: tell you what you go thru that list come back and point out every one which is illegal and can be proved such to a definte stand up standard when you done that then we take if from there as i said "obvious " is the key word

dep-ends on what you are talking about havent looked but if you are on about boots from long gone then would argue the fact that any such classification and follow on "banning" of such is impossible and/or unworkable "obvious" is the key word here surely you do not expect anyone to go and research the legitimacy of 30+ year old "boots"

selling obvious boots is already "banned" be it carvers, dvds, cds or whatever x 4

has head over heels been recently reissued/booted? seen it listed as a 45 but not sure if it was just a lazy listing

no probs its a pain but it something that can't allow just hit the "add refosoul clip" at the bottom buttons
