Useful Info ** Knypersley Club accepts both Cash and Card payments ** There is an on site car park ...plus plenty of nearby roadside parking ** We now have TWO rooms and extra capacity on this occasion ** The venue is easily found on the main A527 road ** Just 10/15 mins from A500 link road ** Johnny Boy is 'live' on stage from 8.45 pm ** Knypersley Club is only 5 mins from Biddulph Town Centre and numerous take aways ** There is facility to NOW Pay on the door ** Entrance fee locked in at only FIVE POUNDS cash only ** Starting at 4pm to give Eight and a half hours of Soul vibes !! **Live DJ sets throughout ** Record sales in the 2nd room for the enthusiasts

Had a fair few asking...whats the 'music policy' gonna be WELL to put it simply...in the MAIN room its proper old fashioned Northern Soul, Club soul and Motown...you know the type..old Wheel. Torch ,Wigan and Mecca classics from back in the day...real old faves we grew up with and are still popular to this day ...and Thats what Johnny Boy will be belting out as well...whilst I'm on let me tell you he puts on one of the best live shows around..................seriously good times guaranteed...what a voice !!! So if the MAIN room is ' proper old fashioned Northern Soul, Club soul and Motown..' then the 2nd room is........... .Best of the rest.....Kev and friends will be playing some really soulful vibes in there....providing a great chill out space...and with an atmosphere to die for !!!! TWO ROOMS...ONE GREAT EVENT...still only £5 !!

NEW flyers going out this weekend Johnny Scott Pryers is really looking forward to his first visit at Knypersley Sports Club He never fails to deliver ---- so expect a 'dynamite' show from Johnny Boy For those who have never been before Knypersley club sits in its own well established sports complex,,,featuring Cricket and football pitches with a large car park ... Inside the Clubhouse it boasts two private and seperate function rooms (which we are using both) to meet capacity demand and a seperate spacious bar area at the rear,,,,which will be busy as its a designated pick up origin for SCFC supporters and their families...so on Good Friday ....at least 6 coaches will be leaving and returning here,,,it will be BUZZING Tick Tock Tick Tock ...its getting closer.....Everybody dance now..

We all know about its 'iconic' status from the early days ..and long may those memories remain.....many teens with many stories from the time and place. I'm sure there were many like me feverishly recollecting those early days...I can remember one failed occasion related to the 'Civic' when myself and a 'chum' wanted to go an alldayer ...no transport..so what the hell lets 'thumb it' 5 hrs later still 20 miles to go....the grim realisation that no one actually drove to Whitchurch in the early/mid 70's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway I digress.. There have intermittent promotions over the years not really building into anything regular or established....but....nay a BIG BUT...thats all changed THIS ticked ALL the boxes......this is very much worthy of travel, pilgrimage or whatever you want to call it.......My travelling group along with myself had a ball .....fantastic group of people (you lot had better come back for the next one) !!! you were brill and a pleasure to be in your company Musically ? ...well a great mix.....fantastic upbeat nighter tunes....from days of 'yore' through to current trends........refreshing LACK of predictability....just how we like it ''The Floor'' bore testament to the tunes...well utilised all night...... This had that 'feel' It had the feel of....this reminds me of 'such and such a place' (insert venue from memory) Again back to 2022 !! It's large enough to boast of BIG VENUE APPEAL yet strangely appealing for a more intimate experience Its got the lot...well done to Pep for all the hard work in getting this off the ground-- really worth the effort and ...it will become a 'MUST GO' event in the future .......All dayer, Soul night, All NIghter.......a venue for all seasons !! Thanks all for a great night out !!
