In a word 'BOOM'

We all know about its 'iconic' status from the early days ..and long may those memories remain.....many teens with many stories from the time and place. I'm sure there were many like me feverishly recollecting those early days...I can remember one failed occasion related to the 'Civic' when myself and a 'chum' wanted to go an alldayer ...no transport..so what the hell lets 'thumb it' 5 hrs later still 20 miles to go....the grim realisation that no one actually drove to Whitchurch in the early/mid 70's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😞 Anyway I digress.. There have intermittent promotions over the years not really building into anything regular or established....but....nay a BIG BUT...thats all changed THIS ticked ALL the boxes......this is very much worthy of travel, pilgrimage or whatever you want to call it.......My travelling group along with myself had a ball .....fantastic group of people (you lot had better come back for the next one) !!! 🙂 you were brill and a pleasure to be in your company Musically ? ...well a great mix.....fantastic upbeat nighter tunes....from days of 'yore' through to current trends........refreshing LACK of predictability....just how we like it ''The Floor'' bore testament to the tunes...well utilised all night...... This had that 'feel' It had the feel of....this reminds me of 'such and such a place' (insert venue from memory) Again back to 2022 !! It's large enough to boast of BIG VENUE APPEAL yet strangely appealing for a more intimate experience Its got the lot...well done to Pep for all the hard work in getting this off the ground-- really worth the effort and ...it will become a 'MUST GO' event in the future .......All dayer, Soul night, All NIghter.......a venue for all seasons !! Thanks all for a great night out !!

Great news the next FOUR are Saturday events

Honestly you had to be there..... Thanks to all that turned out last night and indeed turn out every time to our little soiree Firstly and IMPORTANTLY thanks to Tim Ashibende who came , saw, and took this event by the scruff of the neck and led it down a journey rarely seen or heard before here or most other places I would suggest WOW.. a gargantuan set of 105 mins !!! yeah 15 mins shy of 2hrs of absolutely spine tingling music. WE was blessed!!! and we knew it .. record after record of undeniable quality along with MANY many 'back stories' to a lot of them.. Not many can do that..and I'm not just 'gushing' ask anyone who was there........it really brought a new dimension to how our music is presented to us........................ Freedom to express....we discussed during the night and indeed have many times in the past..............its a simple concept....but can be difficult to execute..when up there spinning records to other people.....and this brings me on to our handsome resident DJ's ,,,again delivered with aplomb..set after set of quote 'Some of the most diverse and widest variety of tunes I've heard in years' Thanks again all...twas a pleasure to be in your company x I'll end as I started Honestly you had to be there........ PS we predict Tim has a bright future ahead so we'll be having him on again...and again lol local lad come good PPS ..what we do down here may not be to EVERYONES' liking BUT we like it . .our dedicated crowd of travelling enthusiasts like it You'll never know unless you try us out...a warm welcome awaits !!
