  1. I have to say i'm probably one of the only ones who really couldn't give a rats arse about the label etc ... as long as it plays and there's at least a little bit of paper in the middle ... i'm happy. Oh .... and that it's cheap of course
  2. Come on Mr. Cunliffe ..... let's be having you .... Toooooooon!!!
  3. Emanuel Laskey .... along with Lee Rogers ... were two of the best soul singers around. You can buy any record by these two without having heard it before and never be disappointed ... there aren't many you can say that about. Tremendous talent .... i'm just glad it was shared with us.
  4. Or anyone with the same sat nav as me ...
  5. Oh no no no ... i'm most definitely a 'Chalkette' Karen ... through and through.... When was the last time Levines Side Kick set fire to anybody on a dancefloor.... i'm still laughing now ... unbelieveably funny
  6. Didn't it go something like FFFAATTTTT AAARSSSSSE!!! just brill I couldn't reply to your post either Karen ... must be Chalky's 'ruining' influence

  24. You know me Mike ... the whole reason of me getting out of bed in the morning is that i might hear something that i haven't heard before. All this 60s vs everything stuff just isn't my style.... was just stating the differences between the two rooms ... from a personal stand point that's all ... not putting down or bigging up either .. just an observation .... nothing more.
  25. My one and only trip to Talk of the South in Luton was the night both Nige S and Nige B DJ'd down there ... and i remember talking to him and him saying about the Monclairs - Hey you ... his love for that record i will never forget ... always think of him whenever i hear it now .... which is great...
