Personally, I love a good playlist and we always provide playlists for DDA. As I do for any other venue I DJ at. Although a lot on here are firmly rooted in the other camp unfortunately. Which is totally fine. I did suggest having a section dedicated entirely to playlists a while ago (to save trawling through lookback after lookback searching for them).
  2. Probably? How cool you are. Been playing this for ten years or more. Great tune indeed.

Who says it's a guy? Anyway, just a Chuck Holiday for me please
  4. Now I'm confused.. I thought we were talking about LP's
  5. Four Voices - Your Love is Getting Stronger / With A Lonely Heart - Voice Chuck Holiday - Just Can't Trust Nobody / I still Love You - Gloria I know you are all well aware that both of these records have the same backing track but different vocals on both sides. But does anyone have any knowledge? Would love to know how it came about. Without doubt four incredible sides!! Incredibly close, but if I had to choose out of the 'a' sides I'd have to pick Chuck Holiday. One of my most favourite lines in a record ever... "that low down dirty dog just stole my woman" B side has to be the Four Voices.
  6. What? Let's leave it here eh... damage limitation and all that
  7. Three fantastic album tracks are 'Lose This Dream', 'Build My World Around You' and 'Just A Little Honey' on the 4 Tops & Supremes Dynamite lp.
  8. Yes I am aware of that... it's your 'no one loses out' statement that I don't understand.
  9. Don't understand this. If she gives Phil half his money back - then he has lost half his money no?

Believe me, Steve would not have let it go for £700. I am sure he sold it for a grand. If Jock Mitchell's are fetching £500 on a weekly basis, then you will not get this for £350. But hey, I'm all for people who take the 'record box is half full' approach to record collecting
  11. Well I live in Preston and I haven't heard a thing about it. What or where the heck is Preston Priory?

Pretty sure Steve Green sold his for a grand.
  13. Have always rated this tune. Don't about you guys, but I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of Irma.
  14. Oi you... I was first!

I first became aware of it around the late 80's. An old Kitch / Dean Anderson spin. (Always get confused by which one played what) Was covered up and it's doing my bloody head in because I can't think of it. Little Beaver ????
  16. Now watch the offers come rolling in
  17. Perhaps you should just state how much you are willing to pay.

ha ha... I must be too then Kitch! Sounds nothing like the Prophets either. Or maybe I am, in fact, going bonkers?
  19. Pretty sure there was some talk about this a while ago. Can't be arsed looking for it though
