  1. Shunt it be hearing aids !
  2. Crossover Soul ? a laid back and more sophisticated production as apposed to northern in your face stompers or the more commercial of the motown catalogue etc.for instance the B side of 60's classic Bobby Sheen Dr Love , Sweet Sweet Love,Barbara Acklin Am i the same girl and Marvin gaye Come get to this.It is hard to explain but as soon as you hear a record you know. That said it is only a Tag that we as collectors and listeners have put on a sound so that if a venue advertise Crossover you should instantly have an idea of the type of music to be played. It's all soul when said and done. Thats what it means for me anyway.
  3. Hi I've just received 2 of the Kent Select singles and i must say the Willie Walker Runaround is stunning Crossover soul of the highest order absolutely brilliant ! and its backed by Willie Bollinger which is fantastic as well, one of the best double siders for a long time, The other was Spencer Wiggins, which i suppose doesn't need an introduction but love Make me yours too. Congratulations to Ady 10 out of 10 Fantastic. can't see them hanging around on the shelves for long, so don't hang around and buy em.
  4. have also bought from royalpunkness on ebay several times no problems !
  5. Yes both sides are excellent 70's dancers, and the never before issued Charles Drain is stunning although Kent says he would like to do more with the track before letting it out.alltough it sounds complete to these ears.

I showed you mine but lets not talk about that on here. I'm sure mine are different but could have been pressed on west or east coast i suppose.one of mine is printed all red with no hand symbol and the other has red on it not all black like the one you have. Great record though
