i did read frank murphys account of this and if i can remember where i'll post it up. v. interesting read it is too. The pressing plant kept 3 copies of everything they pressed. they had a clear out and the employee was told to ditch the lot, he ditched 2 and kept one of everything which is how frank murhpy got it ...along with a load of other goodies... for only a few $

correct. tho was rumour of a third. maybe only a rumour...

seems a lot of rare 45s came from that garage! ;-)

never heard a definitive a few stories floating about. But the copies come from the same source as all the Fredrick Hymes, Four Voices, Toby Bullard's. Considering the amount of Royal Esquires now in circulation. no .its not that rare, thats if these ones are legit...

No, what we're saying is we don't really know why there are 2 different color labels. Money wise both bout £40ish. But my gut feeling (not worth a lot) is that the yellow one is a bit rarer. If i needed to buy it I would pay the extra £1.50 to get the yellow one ;-)

I heard that is was a case of 2 different plants. O well could be wrong. Again. Dont know which is rarer but I've seen alot more green than yellow ones. great record whichever flavour! Mark can you do a scan of yours???

Thats cos Heikis been selling them out of his bag and when I bought mine I didn't see him electronically scan it, so it wouldn't be picked up by the chart compilers. Probably would of got into the hit parade had he bothered to carry an e.o.s with him. Doh!
