The Pendulum
The Pendulum was the first ever PROPER Soul Club I went to, September 1972 as Soul fans me and Rick warburton were f*cked with standing in yer local disco waiting for tammi Lynn or wotever to come on, so after seeing the ad in Blues and Soul decided to give The Pendulum a go. In we walks, two cocky 16 year old Salford Lads who knew it all........................................... Did we b*llocks!!!! Jesus Rick- what the F*ck is this???????????? Dunno Tony, but it's f*ckin' brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds I can remember(now) Earl Wright, Maxine Brown,J.J. Barnes,Jerry Cook, Johnny Sayles and the mighty Johnny Moore. 37 years later, still at it Tony
