  1. and she does have a pitch to her voice similar to Tobi Lark but would it not be too early to be her, also have people not contacted Tobi Lark before? At the very begining of Levine's 'Strange World of Northern Soul' film Tobi Lark comes on to speak about h 'Time Will Pass You By' being released on Mala as ''Tobi Legend'' without her ever knowing!
  2. My mistake, I was thinking of the Fiestas -Ain't she sweet on Old Town
  3. Check out CLEMON SMITH - THE THRILL IS GONE - ALON another Stafford spin from around the same time
  4. She (Blinky) sounds like this
  5. Another Wigan instrumental stomper from 1975. Anyone remember this and who's it by?
  6. Another Wigan classic, Anita Harris - The Play Ground
  7. No, but I think it might help if we had a 'meeting of the committee and passed a resolution'!
  8. , second a version of you are my sunshine on jewel ? Old Town
  9. Lowley Crowde vocal!
  10. Exactly the same as the yellow issue, but on vinyl, not styrene like the originals are. Originals have their ZTSC number stamped in to the run-out.
  11. Adding this to JM`s copy it speaks for itself...thanks for informing Pete
  12. Here you go .... proper northern sou!
  13. We're in love is out & out doo wop, but Lady Luck is not too bad - heard worse!
  14. Thanks chaps. I remember that funnny little thing on the label now, didn't realise it was a rosette though! So I take it that my copy is a sort of legit re-issue and woth a tenner or so?
  15. I've got a copy of Ann Perry - That's the way he is which looks the part, but I seem to remember that there is a issue on a much darker green label. It has a 'bell sound' stamp and was wonder if it's just a different colour paper used, legit re-isssue or strange boot. Any ideas?
  16. Does anyone have any info on Lady Luck / We're in love by the Creations on Take Ten? Are they the same group as the one on Zodiac? Has it been played out. And, of course, the obligatory 'is it worth owt'?
  17. Simon T posted a post in a topic in Look At Your Box

  18. Yes, it is on a white label (? very pale blue) pressing done in the early 90's, might have come out of Mansfield way Danny Moore and the Magnetics were booted in the US around the same time. Top quality boots, but on vinyl, not styrene, like the originals. A few years later Tim A turned up copies of the DM, and so there's no reason the Magnetics should not turn up in such high quantities now
  19. So that's only three for sale in the last two weeks then! Is it gonna be like Danny Moore where the pressing rarer than the original?
  20. ? plus & minus the girlie backing singers
  21. It's not the Sharon Soul track.
