Tobi Legend - Time Will Pass You By - Blue Stock Copy
The following for sale Postage by special delivery with full insurance included PM or e-mail to benray@sky.com Paypal by GIFT please Tobi Legend — Time will pass you by — Mala 591 Vg++ visually / plays Ex OFFERS Rare BLUE STOCK copy, the molded label is still pristine in terms of the visual quality of text, the top side does have a date 2/66 and the figure ½ followed by 4 unreadable letters written in red marker, no visual distraction in my mind, no drill hole. The vinyl is Vg++ to look at under light but plays a loud and clear Ex or better throughout, there are only occasional little pops through the track, please check the sound file. John Manship sold one Vg+ plays M- in January this year at £1069 and another M- 18 months before at £1370, both had drill holes on the run out edge. Looking at his descriptions this is equally as good in terms of a desirable 45 that looks good and plays well. To be honest I don’t expect this copy to make that sort of money, but I do have to start somewhere so its £650 to kick it off. I will update the post as often as I can to show the high bid. To keep it sensible any bid increments over the highest offer as I post them must be a minimum of £25. Bidders can ask to be kept informed by PM when/if they are outbid. Like any auction, bid what its worth to you. I will not identify anyone who bids, nor will I name the winner or disclose the winning bid unless indicated OK by the winner. I would like to wrap up a sale and have it in the post on Friday morning this week before I head off on a trip. The deadline is 8pm BST on Thursday 5th June. All that said, if I receive an offer I can’t resist that hits a set sale price I have in mind I reserve the right to withdraw it. Bid in confidence, I’ve been around for years and plenty will vouch for me and my grading, satisfaction always guaranteed. Happy to take any questions, Lee Time will pass you by.mp3

Richard Temple - That Beatin' Rhythm - Mirwood Demo
The following for Sale Postage: 2.50 recorded or 6.95 special PM Paypal by GIFT please Sound file and scan below Richard Temple — That beatin’ rhythm — Mirwood 5532 WDJ Ex £300 Mirwood DEMO, the best format to collect this superb West Coast label on. Both labels have a small blue felt tip X and the white label is off white. The vinyl is mint minus to look at bar a scuff on the top side, hence the Excellent grading. The track plays very well and only has the faintest of murmurs as it passes through the scuff, otherwise loud and clear and a deep rich gloss on both sides. ”H” and embossed “S” machine stamped original. That beatin ryhthm.mp3

John Manship Auction Results 28-5-2014
Sold a Jannie Williams for 50 a few weeks ago, and I'm sure I never lost out, I suspect someone wanted this one really badly and I can't work out why? it's a mediocre tune.

Tamla White Demo
The following for Sale Postage: 2.50 recorded or 6.95 special PM Paypal by GIFT please Marvin Gaye — Let your conscience be your guide — Tamla 54041 WDJ M- £175 Marvin’s first on the label and a very rare lined white demo. I have come across this released in 3 USA label formats, the usual yellow lined stock copy, an unusual copy with “conscience” on yellow stock label with the flip “never let you go” on a white demo label, this appears to be sold as a demo copy, probably accounting for why you only see the flip label advertised when seller’s state it’s a demo copy. THIS IS the true white demo release with white labels on both sides, very hard to find and presumably a must for Motown collectors, and it’s in tip top condition for such an early label number. Sound file on request.

Richard Temple Beatin' Rhythm
I'm interested to know why there are 2 label designs for Richard Temple's - Beatin' Rhythm - Mirwood. The variations appear on both demo and issue labels and occurs on other Mirwood releases. I know that an issue and demo on opposite label designs still have the same machine stamped H in the run out. Is it something to do with West and East coast pressings and is any particular format rarer than the others? Any advice greatly appreciated, Cheers, Lee
