I was only there for 12 hours Saturday / Sunday , so no doubt alot of great tracks that I didn't hear. In the Queen Vic saturday night the Hideaway crew played some good sounds, and a couple of favourites of mine I heard were... Westsiders...Don't you know...U/A or Leopard Drifters...If you don't come back...Atlantic. Apart from that my brains gone blank........

I had the chance once to compare a boot that I had in my sales box to an original, that John Poole from notts has. The labels are almost identical, think the KKC slightly differs in size, larger on the boot if i remember. and yes there is a stamp in the run out grooves on the original, looks a bit like two circles joined together, if i'm correct...........Great record.

Ok, so here is an idea, what if someone got hold of a chalkboard like the one in the pic'. and put it on a long pole. you could pay say £1 to have the record you are looking for chalked onto the board, It then could be paraded around the record area, and all the dealers could see it, and if they had it they shout up. The £1 donation could go to charity......Just an idea.
