There are veunes that play mid tempo, however venues with large dancefloors feel obliged to play dance floor records. Find a small venue with a small dancefloor, and forward thinking promoters and D.J's, and mid tempo heaven is what you'll get..........Try the Greatstone, Manchester, should just be your cup of tea .

Music 1st, social side 2nd for me........Got to have that fix of at least a couple of sounds that are new to me, don't care if they're a fiver or out of my price range. If you want the social side then go down the pub !, IMO of course.

1st one was O.K, but last night lost it compltetly, quickly mentioned the Northern scene, then onto 80's blatent POP music. Even had Boy George rambling on about soul..........Total B****KS

Think usually Philharmonics are on Yellow issues, but the odd white demo does crop up, never a great sound recording for some reason........

Issues Blue and white, Demo's Black and white, got a nice flip side too......

There's a nice track called " I've got to get myself together " on his Raining teardrops L.P, really nice mid tempo, makes the hairs on your neck stand up....... . Ol man river is Awesome, best version IMO, Don't see it around to often.

Finally picked a copy up about 6 months ago, still sounds good even though I play it nearly every day Love the stafford stuff, so many great tracks.
