I am young and I travel even though I have not been anywhere in a while but I do try and support my local scene saying that I agree that not many youngsters do travel far to nighters I wish they did!

Can someone tell me what the DJ record looks like please. Is it red on one one side and blue on the other? Cheers L

Nothing to do with the price, it is simply just a great record,great voice, great music, great lyrics, and I just cannot stop playing it.

His voice is amazing. Do you know anything more about the band? Who the singer was etc. Would be amazing to find out.

What a great record this is. It just went on E-bay for over £3,000. I just can not stop playing it and I am still not bored of it. Wish I could afford it. Oh well I can keep on dreaming....

I actually liked it, apart from the dancing ha ha! I thought it was quite a good story and better than the movie soul boy's story lol,

Ha. Obviously my mates I go with are much older than me and I do somtimes go to "do's" with my dad (he wont go to nighters anymore ha)and it is great to talk to older people who have intresting stories of when they were young, going etc. As I said I get along with most, it is just a small few I have noticed and wanted to see people opinons on this. I do admit somtimes I do wish there were more young people on the scene, that is why I started this thread really. Anyway I am looking forward to Derby allnighter,

Ok so I have been going to all-nighters and soul do's for a few years now and I just wanted to see what people think of younger people on the scene? I am 21 years old and have been into it for about 3 or so years now. I started of going with a mate the same age as me but he moved away so i go with people much older. I will be honest and admit i do somtimes have people look at me strange and I have had people ask me "should you not be in bed" "does ur mummy know your out etc." This is not everyone just a small few. Do people think it is strange someone so young is into northern soul with all older people? Have people forgot they were young when they were into it? How can we get more youngester in the scene?

Is there any reason why there are atleast 4 variations?
