Dave - I thought the lead singer on the Magnetics 'Lady in Green' was Gerald Mathis who also sang lead for the Volumes on 'That Same Old Feeling'/'The Trouble I've Seen' on Impact. I don't think the lead on the Volumes 45 on Karen was Gerald - it was a different guy - Eddie Union maybe? Weren't the Chicago Magnetics on Sable etc a different group? Cheers Richard

  19. Just picked up this 45 A rare one on D-Town and a very interesting green label promo It seems that most of the D-Towns with different coloured labels (red, blue etc.) and with the D-Town logo shown below are quite rare I wondered if anyone could tell me anything about the artist please Also, has anyone ever seen an issue of this 45? Cheers Richard

  21. Hi everyone Soul Motivation by Robert Winters came out twice on Ron's #3 and #5 - firstly in '68 on the silver label, then in '69 on the black label The two recordings are quite different - the '68 version has a more prominent lead vocal but is less 'storming' I love both - but which is best from a playing out perspective? The '69 version is in Refosoul robert winters - soul motivation - rons I will look out the other version and get it posted up, unless someone already has it on sound file and can post up Cheers Richard
  22. Sorted it The clock on my computer was set to the wrong day (1 June) which must have been throwing Norton out of sync Everything now working fine including PayPal log in Cheers Richard
  23. I'm still having problems. However, I see I have an issue with Norton Internet Security. When I run live update (it says it needs fixing) it says the updated have been completed OK. However, the 'at risk' red and white cross stays in the tray icon and it still says the problems have not been fixed. I think this might be causing the problems with PayPal as it seems to be affecting other sites where a password is needed - including soul-source as I can't stay signed in. Strangely this is a problem when using Google Chrome as my browser - but it doesn't seem to affect Internet Explorer. I have done all the usual computer health checks and have emailed Symantec about my Norton. Cheers Richard
  24. Cheers guys - must be me Thanks Richard
