Sandra Richardson - Stay Here With Me (Inter/Soul 103) Cracking record from 1974 There were several colour variation of the issue (as well as a WDJ) Anyone confirm which variation came first please and whether there are other variations apart from those listed below? Thought the green issue came first and so I am guessing this is the order of release ... Bailey Records - Listing
Hi Everyone Anyone got any information on Bailey Records please? I have copies of two releases on the label, which was seemingly owned by Raymond Bailey who features prominently on the credits for both. Gino Johnson - I'm Aware of Your Love Affair/The Story Of A Woman (Bailey 5676) Ray Bailey & The United Five - Hollywood Part 1/Hollywood Part 2 (Bailey 8109) The label address was 12538 Arlington, Detroit, Michigan, 48212. Any more information please including other releases? Cheers Richard

Hi Keith - thanks very much for the Paul Tate details. I think I have info an at least one of those missing numbers. Will check it out and get back to you. Hey Bob & Dave - just in case - its' the Jerry-O LABEL not Jerry-O the artist we are chasing details on Bob - is the Green Cruncheons Allstars you mention on Jerry-O or Boo-Ga-Loo please? Oh and by the way - I need that Green Cruncheons Allstars on Boo-Ga-Loo 112 - and Jerry-O label as well if Bob says he has info on that one too - anyone help out please? Cheers Richard- "please Help Me Find This Record, It Goes Something Like This..."
Great record - nice drumming Cheers Richard- "please Help Me Find This Record, It Goes Something Like This..."
Don't think it's this - but it's such a nice record I though I would post it anyway DEVOTIONS - DO DO DE DOP - NATION ISSUE - It does go dum, dum, dum (do, do, de) and there is sparse guitar Cheers Richard- Technics - Hey Girl Don't Leave Me (Chex 1013)
Hi all I'm looking for a copy of the Technics - Hey Girl Don't Leave Me (Chex 1013) PM only please! Cheers Richard- Dickie & The Ebb Tides
Not soul, not northern soul - just another genre completely - but one for the GW completist- Edward Hamilton - Baby Don't You Weep
Just checked - both the 'with'and 'without' copies have idential deadwax markings with Nashville stamp Cheers Richard- Edward Hamilton - Baby Don't You Weep
I have both of the the red white and blue originals - with and without the Mike Terry credit. I'm sure I posted up the details of the two versions a while back - just needs a search for the thread. Pretty sure they are both Nashville stamped - not one Frankford-Wayne stamped - will check later. I think the without Mike Terry credit is the rarer and possibly the original if there is a difference - after all why repress without a credit? Here's the previous thread about the coloured counterfeit: /forums/topic/100698-edward-hamilton-baby-dont-you-weep/page__p__1058709__fromsearch__1entry1058709 Cheers Richard- Dickie & The Ebb Tides
There are previous Soul Source threads on this 45 - just do a search. I was interested really in the existence of a white demo Sound files are already in Refosoul posted up by Carl P: DICKIE AND THE EBB TIDES~ONE BOY ONE GIRL~GOLDEN WORLD - DICKIE AND THE EBB TIDES - Carl's Refosoul links also show SCANS of both sides of the Golden World 45. Cheers Richard- Dickie & The Ebb Tides
I am lucky enough (or unlucky enough depending on your views on the 45 ) to have the yellow issue. However, I have never seen or heard of a white demo, or even a sticker demo with one of those "Demonstration Copy - Not For Sale" stickers. I'm sssuming from the lack of confirmation and some recent checking out of other forums (e.g. Soulful Detroit) that the white demo does not exist, which could be likely seeing as this was a leased-in release anyway which had already come out on the Fleetwood label (Boston area?). I have also read there are possibly two releases of the Dickie & Ebb Tides 45: One Boy One Girl/I've Got A Shadow One Boy One Girl/You're Following Me If these two do exist presumably these are not both on Golden World, but are both on Fleetwood - can anyone confirm please? Cheers Richard- Technics - Hey Girl Don't Leave Me (Chex)
C'mon guys - anyone hlep me with this one please? PM only thanks Cheers Richard - Singers With A "lisp"
