  1. One kind of snuck through eBay about two weeks ago. Was listed as the other side. Went for about £150. Not great nick. That's at least two on eBay in the last six or eight months. Cheers Richard
  2. On now - 7pm til 9pm Dean and Jez Tune in for some great soul music and a few laughs! Online www.tulip-radio.co.uk Cheers Richard
  3. That Bobby Bell is a great double-sider Richard

Well - fabulous group Rose St John and the ... Johnnie Matthews and the .. The ... Realised I know very little about them. Anyone got any info please? Cheers Richard
  9. OK then - what about Ronnie Savoy on Tuff? Richard
  10. Thanks, but if they were Pittsburgh artists, recordings, session men etc. that don't make it a Detroit label to me It is very intriguing though - and got to say your info is top class Cheers Richard
  11. Just had a quick look and that's an EX+ so suggests not part of the store stock "find" Cheers Richard
  12. All lines up with my own assessment guys - thanks for the insight So looking at this and Clara Hardy on Tuna - if a record gets stuck on a "rare" Goldmine CD - a few turn up Cheers Richard P.S - just seen your last post Chalky - buy it!!
  13. Here's a rare one I have which is nice. Google is easier than scanner though. Looks like a Carl P scan from eBay - think I remember this one. Some folk say it isn't a demo because it is just plain white with no "DJ" or "Not For Sale" stuff on it. I say - demo, demo, demo What a fantastic record! Cheers Richard
  14. Not sure mate to be honest. There were a few around at the same time for a few months last year - store stock. There were some on eBay. Plus some of the main UK dealers had it for sale. My impression was more like a "handful" rather than a "truck load", if you get my drift. Didn't see it dip to less than around 300 squid. Not seen one for a while. Cheers Richard
  15. Is that a current registered address? Is there a way to find out previous BMI addresses? That would be conclusive I guess. Sounds like Detroit in address only though still? Cheers Richard
  16. Cheap record ... rare white demo I've posted this on here before, but never mind Took me a long time to find one of these Cheers Richard
  17. One connection is that The Grant Street Exit 45 came out on both Del-La and Millage. Cheers Richard
  18. Great stuff - some real insight there - thank you Have always thought that the Detroit connections for MIllage were tentative - have never collected the label because of that - although I did have the Four Reputations at one time. Doesn't Telldell appear on other Detroit releases on other labels though? - can't think of any example off the top of my head though. Cheers Richard
  19. Massive quality record Obviously quite a few turned up a while back. In view of that, what's the thinking on current state on the market on this one then? Thinking price, availability, perception of rarity etc. Cheers Richard
  20. Was pondering on the issue about the Herbie Williams (Pied Piper) credit on this massive Northern sound tonight. I decided to post something up on here - to see who knew what about it. Thought I would have a quick Google first and threw up this thread - mine from April 2011 Anyway, still interested if there's any more. Also - Mr Croasdell - got any info on this please? Cheers Richard
  21. There are 5 by my reckoning - so which are the 4 that are sought after, and which one isn't please
  22. Jason Go to your original post - click on 'edit' Click on 'full editor' Then you can edit the title at the top Hey - just bumped your sale for you too Richard
