Mar-v-lus Compilation On Uk President (ptl 1002)
£15 - £20. Cover is black, yellow and blue... silhouette of a mans face and the title of the album in ornate writing taking up a large amount of the sleeve - very of its time, almost psychedelic.

What Was The First Record You Paid " Real " Mony For ?
First record I paid a decent amount for was probably Michael and Raymond WD for £40 at the Chapel Allnighter in Rotherham. First £100 record was The Tan Geers "What's The Use Of Me Trying" Okeh issue, March 1995.

William Hunt Would You Believe
If one person has expressed the wish to own a record and several others have said that it is a nice tune, does that qualify a raise in price? You admit yourself that you haven't sold a UK copy in a while and that you have one filed - surely this means the demand is low? In my opinion this means your 'price guide' is of no value, as you may just change your mind of a records value at any given time? BTW There was a whistling man to indicate the joke...
-
William Hunt Would You Believe
Don't you have a valuation in your UK 45 Guide?
-
William Hunt Would You Believe
If I remember correctly - the UK copy is a completely different version of the track - try before you buy to ensure it's the right one....

Servicemen - Orig Or Boot?
yep got the label with the cartoon feller on (labels on wrong sides as most are) but was hoping to upgrade to the orange label on the cheap...

My First Trip To Detroit
Next time you speak to Bobby Eaton, please ask him what the deal was with his Galaxy release of "Fever, Fever, Fever" which was also released as B.O.S "Love Is Fever" on Boo.
-
Servicemen - Orig Or Boot?
It's okay, twas only £20 and the seller has excellent feedback so I can't see a problem getting my money back.
-
Servicemen - Orig Or Boot?
Nice one... just checked the description again and it states a delta number etched into runout (Delta Release < 69165/6 indead wax) which means it's prob kosher... Cheers.
-
Servicemen - Orig Or Boot?
Won an orange label copy on eBay the other day - still waiting for it to arrive so I'd like to know how you spot a boot from a real 'un? I've no reason to think that it's a boot - other than it was very cheap and it would be my lousy luck for it to be one. Here's the scan that was posted on the sale page:
-
Major Lance ..investigate..okeh
huge runout, poorly centred label, vinyl? Looks like a boot to me.
