  1. Maybe they meant 'commercial' as opposed to 'promo'
  2. According to The Music Master Price Guide For Record Collectors Edition 3.........its The Who. "The 1976 reissue of 'Substitute' has the distinction of being the first twelve inch single ever made"
  3. Through the fire escape whilst my mates kept watch....
  4. If you want a Crossover record at the right price, go to the R&B boys who sell it cheaper for the flip.... £20 for the Stu Gardner in my sales box, and I think I've got a couple.
  5. Got a Betty Lavette somewhere in the sales boxes... £20 inc recorded p+p to the UK.
  6. Books at £300 I was the third highest bidder... but that was on "1 copy" He offered it to me for my highest bid, which I declined stating that as he had multiples, i'd rather bid on one. First offer he sent stated he had 2 copies (which I missed in the small print), when I queried why he had made me a second chance offer he stated he had three copies. Hmmmm. He didn't accept my lower offer of somewhere between my lowest bid and my highest bid (no one had made a bid inbetween the two) stating he'd offer it to one of the other high bidders...
  7. Careful of the boot... Original is an olive green kind of colour, boot is mid/dark green
  8. AWOOGA! AWOOGA! AWOOGA! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! I've also received a second chance offer on this 45. Bet he's got a f*cking box full....
  9. Well, it's a nicker short of £400 with an hour to go, so that's me well and truly out of the running.....
  10. bollocks. I was going to bid on this but now everyone and his dog knows about it, it's bound to go for more than I was going to bid.

Theres another release of Arabia on the Ebony label, but I think it is a different/earlier mix. I've also seen a Delcos 45 on SS7 but it wasn't Arabia. Not much help really? LOL
  12. I find company sleeves are excellent for lining the cats litter tray... mucho absorbant!
  13. ....Ish

Is that when you forget where you put your false teeth?
  16. Can't get these to play - something about codec? Can anyone help?
  17. Presumably they just slotted it direct into the Polydor numbering system instead of giving the series it's own. Bad marketing and the lazy option i.m.h.o.
  18. Could have been a real collectors label if it wasn't for the jumps in the numbering system... Some great stuff on the label.
  19. buying or selling?
  20. Seeburg manufactured 33.3 rpm Jukeboxes, alongside their 45 rpm Jukes. I know this because the Barbara Dane LP on Capitol came out in this format with Seeburg printed on the envelope.
  21. Surely this is only a £30 record on import? I turned down a U.S. demo for $40 as I couldn't see any profit in it.
  22. I have the full LP split over 5 discs. No spares though Davie, but if you let me know which one you're after I'll keep my eyes open for you.
  23. Just like Ray & Dave you are "Wrong Wrong Wrong" And here's the evidence....
