Are There Any Young Northern Soul Fans ?
Hi Sujka, I believe we met at the January 100 Club when Marcus was playing. That's great news and you've probably knocked two years average age of the 100 Club clientelle in one go!

We had a 20 year old Tomas McGrath DJing at the 100 Club on Saturday and he impressed everyone hugely so plenty of Northern life in the south!

Ebay: Making Sales Available To Us, Aus Etc
I'm flogging a few on Ebay and can't seem to make them available to non-Euro countries I think it's something to do with how I do the postage options for the worldwide deal. I've ticked those countries but when I look at the listing it doesn't say they are available to them if they click the drop down menu. Any help greatly appreciated. Ady PS I've paid the 5p extra to make them available on other Ebat international sites, I'm assuming that's a good idea

Soul Shoes Help
When I was a young pup I used to get my shoes from Anello and Davide who were ballet shoe makers in Covent Garden and they did some superb thin leather basic shoes. I think I might have had a pair of brown and white co-respondent shoes from them.

It's not been much help frm my viewpoint, a few looks at the topic but no response. Maybe it's more of a trading site than an info set up

If it's the one I'm thinking of Margie Singleton was a cover-up name I gave it years ago.

Verma Lewis And The Mustangs Five On Red Vinyl Anco 45 From Compton
Wow, Phil kindly sent me sound files of the record and it sounds like it was from about 2 years earlier than the Gold Token, totally different, and is given a much more R&B treatment. Sparser but very catchy and gets a good mood going. The Gold Token's pretty rare so I'd be interested to know what RB fans in particular might think of this if they ain't heard the later version. I think it's gonna get Ebayed soonish. Ady

Staying To The End
Though a lot have left by the end, there's always a very good dancefloor for the last few records and I'm sure that everyone who is there makes that effort to catch the last of the action. Actually Den it is very much like the footie thing where you can't believe the home fans are leaving 5 mins early to get away quicker. My mates missed 3 goals in a 3-3 draw when we came back from behind with Arsenal (one of Bergkamps most famous hat tricks) by leaving a bit early.

Staying To The End
Though I sneak out of nighters I'm guesting at an hour or two before the end (due to being bolloxed), I'm always surprised at people who leave about 5-5.30 when they're nearly at the end. Apart from it feeling like a bit of an achievement (silly I know), it's a very emotional time for me and I'm sure the regulars who hang on for the end and probably the best bit of the nighter in many cases; or perhaps it's just me being soppy and the satisfaction of having had another good night.
