played my roulette demo on saturday at the nuneaton Co-op! - still a floorpacker and rightly so!

i heard this on a tape in the early 80s..knew it was brill the 1st time i heard it..+ had to get one,,,im so glad its huge at the mo. i know the words off by heart as a northern tune it has EVERYTHING!! ...sorry chalks dont know who playd it first though.....Russ Winstanley??? - ill get me coat!

hi theres one person who would know this and thats JOHN VINCENT... he played this at wigan casino in 1975 and is one track me and Pete Robinson (RIP) couldnt identify from the live tape he gave me... so john if ure out there - over to you!!! gr8 record by the way too..

yep thats the one mate...also on that tape searling spinnnig i feel alright - turley richards which is a monster spin everywhere,,, he also is white i believe....

i got it on a searling tape from wigan tape 15/10/77 fancy searling and ginger playing white pop tunes eh???

i dont mind rare soul either as long as its good.... sadly over the years theres too much dreary mid-tempo and average dancers ...but then again its only an opinion

========= a blokes got to make a living ...he wasnt the only dj to play pop in that era,,,theres lots old djs who dont get anywhere else either i cant beleive the venom and vitriol against russ on here hes just a person at the end of the day and i think alot of the jibes on here are just out of order especially when he s not on here to defend himself
