===== hi sean my nuneaton coop nights have gone from 100 to 140 at the last one ,,,music policy one month across the board month after oldies etc capacity is 400 but with when the word gets round about the venue im hoping the numbers will grow,, at the Civic Hall in bedworth we got nearly 350 at our last one,,the coops not a worser venue but its taking time to rebuild the venue/reputation etc... i also purposely took june/july from my dates for the years cuz of holidays.. regadrs mark

Screaming and Shouting on SS7 good old northern just like it used to be...100 mph female stormer probably torch/early wigan tune?? played this at the weekend at a local do,,,sounded fantastic must play it at a larger venue,, only a cheapie bought a demo recently for £15 check it out on soulclub.org regards mark

========== hi bazza this is a pertinent question for me mate i constantly get asked for requests for oldies during my spots,,ive 9/10 got them in my box and feel duty bound to play them but when uve finished ure spot u see uve played over half of things u didnt want to play esp at niters,, ive sat back and tried to redress this as countless djs stick to their guns and play their own sets... what worrys me if u play a total eclectic set u may clear the floor and despite ure tunes being good a promotor isnt going to put up with that too long,especially with so many dj's waiting in the wings for that elusive spot! its about balance which im working on constantly and learning all the time!! good point tho!

got a live tape of martha at wigan,, got 76 on it but cuz of the playlists i think it would be circa 78/79 searlings spinning born a loser,,betty boo,cecil washington etc and russ playing his casino classics ron grainer,,all night band etc i would suggest 78/79 anyone know ?? regards mark
