just got a tape of mr mm's with the most eloquent dj ive ever heard - turns out its mick rollo who i think has passed away since,,sounded like a nice chap.. anyone got memories of mr m's good or bad?? remember on my first visit to the casino (of 3 ) and went in mms and the first record was a stomper and had to come off after a minute,,,as id stomped me self out of breath!!! learned to pace meself since... sorry for all these reflective posts.. regards mark

Sally Sagoe - A little bit of love - Dart Often listed for the other side Stop comes this great 70's track of the old school type A little bit of love is dramatic midtempo that i think alot of missed ...i picked up years ago and put it on plenty of tapes but only played it out once at an allniter (last brum) i think its a real good old fashioned 70's that could go at the right venue..and its real cheap too.. ill try and put a sound clip up later on..but one to watch yours fluff..

teen turbans - we need to be loved - loma c/u as tobi lamaar this is an uptempo dancer for me a great oldie is this,,just doesnt get played enough.. funnily enough this was played on heart beat last year ... anyone else fond of this one? regards mark

===== got the HH on a lovely white demo,,,got in my one and only trip to Lowton for £25 still like harry betts but this would horrify most if played today... btw theres a great floating midtempo on the bside of the pressing of this called straight ahead..check it out.. .lockes theme is by bobs band on atco one ive been after for a few years..funny tho on the one live wigan tape ive got with this on,,,halfway through someone shouts something like 'mark freeman',,,3 years before i even went to my first niter... spooky or what..

the way you make me feel on critique ,,starts off slow for the opening fe bars then whhhooooshhha ,, great stomper,,gritty voice not too fast however.. used to be quite common but dont see it too much either i aint played this for years out for years but put it on loads of tapes about 15 years ago when i first got a copy.... rumoured to be late wigan but very definately early stafford too... gr8 none the less regards fluff
