We Got A thing Going On - ben e king & dee dee sharp - (atco) 7" 11415 refosoul I like this inexpensive effort from these two...
  3. I've got the Niteflyte - All About Love 7" - US Ariola. It does exist, honest.
  4. Stage Productions...same as Gloria Jay - Know What You Want
  5. About £30 tops for a minter?

Am I right or wrong in thinking the New Wanderers 'Ain't Gonna Do You No Harm' / 'Let Me Render My Service...' are on the same release? If so what two-sider that is! If not, what a killer pair....
  8. It's on United Artists from 1978, called 'Steppin' Out On Saturday Night' and contains both sides of both Karma 45's. The album version of 'Give Me One More Chance' is weaker than the '45 cut, the flip, 'Cleveland' is m.o.r pop...never paid it much attention in terms of difference. Not sure how the album cuts of 'You're So Beautiful' and 'Look At me' fare next to the '45 version of those because personally I was never inclined to try to buy the '45 to compare them...bit too pop-soul for me if the LP version's anything to go by.
  9. Got a spare....PM'd you.

You wanna tell that to a plasterer...£600 lighter later but some nice re-skimmed walls - you're in the wrong business Russ Mr Richer tells me you're coming up this way some...bring some records and we'll have you spin a few at Whitley
  11. I've got a spare Atco issue - has "Love Is Just Around The Corner" on the flip of "Got To Get You Back"
  12. Admitedly Martin, it isn't the best album out there in truth...apart from the two tracks from the 7" the other standout is the title track which in itself is worth the entry fee alone . Ok, so there's a decent funk cut too, but we won't go into that I was toying with letting mine go recently and it'll be on here first if I do.

  15. Different track Simon...but it'll no doubt be on the LP they're putting out, if not on a 7"
  16. Yeah, and as such effectively accusing himself of bootlegging them. What a guy!

...a £20 record going for this much? Great record, but demo's THAT hard/desirable? https://cgi.ebay.com/Ethics-Farewell-Great-...1QQcmdZViewItem

Which proves nothing but the power of market forces, supply, demand and the current availability of copies at £25/£35 in 2006, which after this thread, probably aren't many. Throw in the fact that to some ears it has interest because it could almost be a f*nk record of sorts and you've got a whole new bunch of modern day buyers wanting both the record or a time machine or both
