Probably 40 for Hannibal and 10 for Gene Chandler. Though it looks like I may be totally wrong on the Gene Chandler. Didn't realize this one was tough.

Saw that Kaz was looking for this in 2005 (!) - thanks, Boba for spotting my post, by the way. I just picked up a copy of this blind today - haven't yet put a needle on it. Wondering what the deal is. All I know so far is that it's 1974 Philadelphia. Haven't seen any other references to it on Google. Any info about this one floating around on Soul Source? Dredging up this Oooooold thread. What's the deal with the John Minns 45? I just bought one blind, so I know it's 1974 Philly, no idea what it sounds like yet.

yeah, it's definitely one that leans towards the funkier side. Good drums but not really one for the dance floor.

Just a hunch, I would say somewhere around $30 to $40.

OK. I know that a dealer near my certainly had multiples, but I don't know how many - at least three though.

Excellent question, Russ. I've only ever seen two and they both had red eyes. I would guess that Andy Dyson may have an opinion on this as well.

There is no bootleg that I'm aware of. The reissue was done legitimately by The Rabbit Factory, whose name is on the label. So all you need to do is read the label on the 45. Original Reissue

wow. how many of these have surfaced over the past few months, and I'm guessing all from the same source?

Anyone need a clean copy of this 45? I don't have it in my hands yet, but am meeting up with someone this weekend who has this among other things I'm interested in. I ask now rather than after it's in hand if anyone needs a copy since I know the guy isn't going to let it go so cheap that I can afford to hang onto it for a while. What will probably happen if I don't get it is the guy will shift it to another friend of his who will just throw it up on ebay. Obviously, I can't guarantee the condition just yet, but it's probably going to be a strong VG+ or better based on what I know now. Price will be somewhere in the range of $250. No payment wanted until I can give you full details. I'm just looking to find out if I can easily give this one a new home or pass on it when I meet the guy. PM if interested.

I don't know. The copy I sold last year (I think? Maybe 2007) fetched $150 and it is one that a lot of folks on the mod scene are after. The demand that could push it up that much more isn't artificial.
