  1. Had a white demo on Kay-Ko in this midtempo gem (white Jewish trio I believe, and friends of Doni Burdick !) for a few years now, though I know this received a later national release on Mercury. Which is harder though, and anyone want a stab at values on both? Would have thought the Mercury one would be more common (unless the Kay-Ko sold a bit regionally then flopped on wider distribution?). Can't remember the last time I saw a Mercury copy... Mark.
  2. Roy Hamilton-Heartaches hurry on by DEFY anybody not to be reduced to tears on first (and many) listens! Mark.
  3. Aah, thanks Phil and others. Query's kind of sorted then. But I assume there is no 45 by Chris Bartley? See you at Morely Carr on Saturday Phil (I'm doing a spot too) Mark.
  4. I've got this on a Chris Bartley Vando LP. I know TT did this as a 45, but not aware if there is a Chris Bartley 45. Must admit haven't heard the TT one, but just curious qas to whether TT is actually CB. Anyone? Mark
  5. Hi still got eugene jefferson, pretty girl.... (OPEN)? If so, what condition and do you take paypal? Cheers, Mark.
  6. A truer word has never been spoken. (My f******g arse)
  7. 149 is the one to have though with the excellent mid tempo "Look over your shoulder" , almost beat ballad....
  8. PMd you, Mark
  9. I posted this as a wants item previously, and wondering if people can help here re price. Haven't seen it listed recently anywhere, JM listed as £40 (3rd Ed) to £100 (4rth Ed). Also quick trawl on SS suggests around £75 in 2006. Could we have a consensus here please for a current price? Don't think there's been a sudden hike in demand (unless I've missed something) that would inflate it much beyond these figures here but I may be wrong and wanted to check. Just want to pay the going rate. Many thanks in advance, Mark
  10. Anybody? Would take a vg+ if sound file...

  16. I'm sure Alan Walls had an acetate of Long after tonights all over by Jimmy Radcliffe in Italian or Spanish, on the back of Loves gonna get you by Mary Love (or whoever it was really supposed to be...)
  17. Think I've sussed it. Bright blue/green #1008, then matt blue #7505 (dont know where I got maroon from?). Is #7505 a late (80s/90s) job?
  18. Thanks Ged. How about legit reissue then (maybe for the flip for the US teen collectors market?), as I said I know there was a reissue series or two, and have seen two different coloured labels (one luminous blue/green and the other maroon I think from memory)...or just a different pressing plant?
  19. I know some of the Saxony stuff were reissued on 45 in the 80s/90s at least once, but none of the discographies tell me whether this has been? Has it been reissued/booted then and if so whats the difference in label design/nos anyone? Any scans to help? Cheers, Mark
