  1. I posted this as a wants item previously, and wondering if people can help here re price. Haven't seen it listed recently anywhere, JM listed as £40 (3rd Ed) to £100 (4rth Ed). Also quick trawl on SS suggests around £75 in 2006. Could we have a consensus here please for a current price? Don't think there's been a sudden hike in demand (unless I've missed something) that would inflate it much beyond these figures here but I may be wrong and wanted to check. Just want to pay the going rate. Many thanks in advance, Mark
  2. Anybody? Would take a vg+ if sound file...
  3. Anybody got a copy for sale? Pm me please with condition and price! Thanks, Mark
  4. Anybody want to off-load this? Must be Ex or better! Pm's please! Cheers, Mark
  5. Get the Lp instead. Half the price, quality additional tunes and an ace front cover!
  6. I may just have made your day if not got one already! PMd you..... Mark.
  7. Theres an Ex copy in sales 110 ono Mark
  8. I'm sure Alan Walls had an acetate of Long after tonights all over by Jimmy Radcliffe in Italian or Spanish, on the back of Loves gonna get you by Mary Love (or whoever it was really supposed to be...)
  9. Think I've sussed it. Bright blue/green #1008, then matt blue #7505 (dont know where I got maroon from?). Is #7505 a late (80s/90s) job?
  10. Thanks Ged. How about legit reissue then (maybe for the flip for the US teen collectors market?), as I said I know there was a reissue series or two, and have seen two different coloured labels (one luminous blue/green and the other maroon I think from memory)...or just a different pressing plant?
  11. I know some of the Saxony stuff were reissued on 45 in the 80s/90s at least once, but none of the discographies tell me whether this has been? Has it been reissued/booted then and if so whats the difference in label design/nos anyone? Any scans to help? Cheers, Mark

Seventies fans: Charisma Band orgasms all the way through, becomes a tad ridiculous by the end (OOOOOOOH BABY!!!!!) Sixties: Steve Mancha Monday through Thursday ("....wanna tell you the rest of my story..turn the record over baby...WZEEEP as he scratches the record!!) (then Friday night) PURE GENIUS! Mark.
  13. After ex/m copy of this, anybody got one? Cheers, Mark

Check out "Girl, you been cheating on me" from the LP. Great little crossover track with fab intro! Mark
  15. Agree there needs to be a compromise sometimes. Nobody would ever have a Detroit collection if we didn't accept anything less than mint! Mark
  16. Hi Harry, it was me you asked on Saturday, I played it off the Fania 45 but also on the 'Acid' LP on Fania ( includes Deeper shade of soul and soul drummers). Pete Bonet on lead vocal. Cheers, Mark.
  17. Anybody want the LP, got one for sale.....
  18. I've spent so long looking for some tunes that once you get your hands on 'em years later you wonder why the f**k did I want that! Tastes change I suppose....
  19. Don't understand the difference between a debit/credit card linked to a paypal account and a bank account linked to paypal.......Does this mean I have to shovel money into the paypal account itself to not get charged the 4% when buying. What if I have a bit in the paypal account and a bit off my card....
  20. Oh yeh then I got Harold Burrage 50 50 for a dollar on the reception desk of a dodgey Norman Bates motel in NJ a year later!
  21. Charisma Band 50p at an Edinburgh car boot sale about 15 years ago. Two mates of mine got Tommy Navarro and Tony Middleton for about 20 cents at a car boot type market in New Jersey in the early 90s (out of the same box as well I think!)...
  22. I know this has been released on 2 labels (?IX and Sounds of Memphis-MGM). From memory these are two versions (SOM one earlier?), but no sound clip specifically on the SOM version (which I think was the superior one), anybody kind enough to post? Cheers, Mark
