I agree Phil, proper bargain here, truth is I was collecting Volt at one point and ended up with a few doubles I was left with which are just lying around. They just need a good home!Kinda worh it for the alternative to Mr Mancha alone.

I've got rhe 45, the vocal seems ok to me but there is a high pitch background noise in the mix, almost like feedback which doesn't seem so bad when played out

Any Frank Guida / Norfolk Va experts here? Always frustrated me this: I know the Rockmasters were Frank Guida's Norfolk Va outfit (and "Raining Teardrops" was penned by Guida and partner Joe Royster). I assume, but don't know for sure, that the session musicians who originally made up the Church Street Five played on this (I know who they were and have tried to track them down but most if not all have now passed away to ask), but any clues as to who the vocalists were? And as an aside the Rockmasters - Sapphires similarity in parts - any possible connection or just mere coincidence? Did Guida / Royster have any connection with Swan or credited individuals on "Who do you love"...

Tricky on this I guess - for the styrene, would say vg++ no scratches, no scratches no hiss and plays without fault. For the label maybe a vg for WoL and sticker on flip. So vg+ overall?

Just picked up nice early group soul (62ish?) thing, The Furys on a French Columbia EP. Was aware of a couple of their Mack IV releases, some which appear on this. One track in particular on the EP 'If there's a next time' I'm convinced I've heard before maybe in 80s post Stafford etc? Any background info on who these guys were?
