I have just had a message to tell me that Linda Pearson from Bolton died this morning The message was a bit vague as the sender is devastated and will contact me later on today with more details. Apparently it was something to do with her heart. Those of you who knew Linda knew how happy she'd been lately since she'd been with Mark Morgan (Wales) and how her life had changed. Linda was full of life and really good fun to be with. I last saw Linda at Bidds nighter a couple of months ago and had a really good night with her. As soon as I hear more I'll post something up. I shall miss her laughter and sense of fun... RIP Linda darling xxx

I haven't been down for a couple of years but when I lived "up north" we used to travel down every month ... I'm speechless ... Ady you must be gutted but these things normally happen for a reason ... I just can't think of a damn good one at the moment I hope your new venue takes off well for you Mandy x

Hammy that is absolutely terrible and disgusting behaviour and they wonder why the majority of US citizens can't stand the pigs!! I sincerely hope you're well again and no permanent damage has been caused - physically and mentally. I hope you get along with suing them too .. I work for a rather large litigation law practice so if you need any help just give me a shout

Standing at Trentham Gardens with Bob & Mo Hinsley watching The Dells ... I don't know who cried more .. me or Mo ... they were just superb and has to be one of the best live acts I've ever seen

This is terrible I don't know what happened here except his partner is supposedly the person who murdered him - people only hear about women being abused in relationships ... I just hope the poor man didn't suffer whilst she did whatever she did to him. His kids must be absolutely devasted by this ... why don't people think or get help before things go too far I didn't know Simon but my thoughts are with his children and the rest of his family at this awfully sad time

Paul Hamer is still on the scene knocking about with Mickie Cruze, Jed was last seen at Prestatyn in March looking good, Nettie is now married, Gail has started playing out again (seen piccies of her out and about), Julie Halliwell is now with Dave Molloy ... that's about all I know I'm afraid. Yet another young soul gone from us When I lived "up north" Terry asked if he could borrow my car to run his "young lady" home up to Rochdale and of course as it was Terry I said yes. Not expecting him to be back for a few hours but I was getting a bit concerned the following morning when neither Terry nor the car had returned. A few hours later the police turned up at my place to tell me that they had found my "stolen" car in the middle of Stockport town centre with the driver's door left wide open .... I'm still not quite sure to this day what happened but Terry swore he couldn't remember either RIP Terry Mandy x

I used to love those nights.... meeting up with Phil & Linda Broadhurst, Julie & Mo, Howard Jones, Pat & Bernard Lowe to name a few. Fantastic music and great atmosphere. Pokey little club but just awesome nights there

Hi Mark, long long time no see! How's your Andy? Gary is living in Rhode Heath (Near Alsager - Stoke sort of area). Still with Alison as far as I know. He DJs regularly at Alsager Civic as well as other venues although I've not seen him for a while. Can get a number for you if you want one. Mandy

I think I'm banned too But like KirstyM I wouldn't attend any of his venues again anyway, the man has no respect for anyone to which he proved at Whitby ... all that was needed was an apology ... but hey he obviously thinks he's too big to do that sort of thing

This was taken at Wendy & Kiddo's wedding only at the beginning of October.

I was told about this last night and was very very sad to hear this. I hadn't seen Pedro for a number of years and he turned up at Wendy & Kiddo's wedding last month - it was fabulous to see him again and we had a chat and a laugh about the old days at the Black Horse and other venues around the midlands with Pep & Helen etc. A true gent with a heart as big as the man was. My thoughts are with his partner, family and friends. RIP Pedro Mandy xx

Yep, know what you mean Stevie My little lad is only 6 and whilst he still wants to spend time with me I'm making the most of it, as in a few years time it won't be cool to be seen out with mum will it I miss loads of nights that I want to go to but I know that as soon as Ryan is old enough those nights will still be there and I can venture out again

Not sure if this is the correct forum but I'm sure some mod will move me if it's not Is anyone going to Lowton tonight who is also coming to the Gambian Soul Club charity alldayer tomorrow? Chris Waterman has a parcel full of raffle prizes and needs somebody to bring them down, or if they can be passed on to somebody who is coming down. We would really appreciate the help here
