The Weekend is now within touching distance, as we near our Saturday October 18th event at Ashton Ukrainian Club. Amazing response once again, we are blessed with loyal support from The Ashton Faithful and for our part, we aim to keep delivering quality DJ line ups and boxed fresh playlists. Talking of which, we're delighted to welcome Tsop Manchester back behind the decks, please feel free to browse our Soul-Source event page thread, via the link, as Baz has been hand picking some current faves to tempt you onto our recently refurbed dancefloor!! Gamekeeper Jones has been a busy boy at various gigs, including the excellent Grimsargh Soul Nights, always a varied and interesting playlist!! Karl Bodey will be showcasing some quality Album Tracks alongside some choice Rare Soul 45s!! Team Ukrainian complete the line up, Phil Dunn always delivers a great opening set, to set the foundation for the night!! Mick Howard and Ashton Main Man Chris Churm will be taking care of your business for the middle and finishing part of the proceedings. We look forward to providing a quality night out, for our regulars and of course our first time attendees!! We welcome Sales Boxes, the bar/lounge area is usually the hub of vinyl wheeler dealers!. The night runs 7pm-00.30 and £6 admission pay on the door, see you all Saturday!

Great Night at Stockport Ukrainian Club, nice to see some of The Ashton Regulars,Karen Howard, Dazzlin DuzDallas, Debbie Troops Karen Hallam Debbie McCracken and Carl, Christine Fiddler and Louis, coming down to support myself, Simon Ingham and Robbo guesting, for Rodger Dodger It was a refreshing change to dust off some of the evergreen 45s of our scene, we sometimes neglect, to entertain a great crowd. What started as a bit of a slow burner, the room soon filled up, nice to see Steve Foran and managed to play your request. This is a bi-monthly event and Stockport has a rich vein of followers over the years. A decent sized room and dancefloor, set just off the A6 heading out of the town!! Well worth a visit, watch out for the flyers on here and Soul-Source. Last night was the Anniversary night, celebrating six years, no mean feat in today's market!!! I'll add a playlist later on.
