Poll: Version Battle - We're Not Too Young
You lil' rascal Mike. Oh so hard, they are all good toones. But the sweet clean lead and waving group vocals of the Camaros just melts the heart strings into submission for me. Nice one. Be interesting to see where it end up.

Ramona collins - you been cheatin
Hmm, are we sure about that. I've never actually known a copy with the short intro. When it was released on a Goldmine CD, it did feature a short intro, but to my ears always thought it had been cut short for the CD, the arrangements and take is otherwise identical. Every copy I've had or known of all actually had the long intro.... Anyone?

Soul Brothers Six Move Girl .
It was certainly obtainable for a short while, but I wouldn't say everywhere. `I know Marc Forest and I jumped on it to grab a copy and Andy Dyson may have obtained a few copies. If memory is serving me (and it fails me often), I seem to recall The Darling Dears was found in quantity amongst the label stock, but most of the stock of the other titles were severely water damaged and scrapped. Think the remaining stock got shipped by container from Canada down to Australia? The owner of the haul wasn't overly interested / bothered in liquidating it. A nice guy, but seemed indifferent. After that, it all seemed to vanish??? As I say, don't quote me on the above or take it as gospel, but I think that's the general gist of it. Andy Dyson could probably shed some light on it, his memory is impeccable compared to mine.

has a boot been bootlegged itself?
Were they actually boots? When this record came to light 15 years or so ago, there were serious questions asked of it back then, many thought it was a brand new press of a previously unreleased version, courtesy of that famous Vegas based wheeler and dealer. 🤫 After one or two copies carefully trickled out for 4 figures, the motherlode spilled out everywhere. WAX TRAX rings a bell for some reason??

Stiff White Record Card Sleeves????
I'm doing a major sort through re-sleeving exercise etc. Does anyone know where to get the stiff glossy white card sleeves with the white insides. Had a batch from Sounds wholesale they were not great, but just about passable, ordered a second batch and what arrived was those cheap and flimsy grey interior type. Used to be able to get the gloss thick and stiff type with clean white inside (no thumbnails) can't seem to get them anywhere any more?? I know bags unlimited in the USA have them, but would rather buy here in UK possible. Any ideas?? Thanks again, everyone. Andy

Handmade Wood Record Cases??
Hi All, II wondered if anyone knows anyone who makes handmade wooden record cases. I'm looking for some nicely crafted cases (2 lanes / 100 to 150 total). They need to be dove jointed, key looking and fine etc. I've decided to move my collection into smaller cases as the flight cases I have are so so heavy. Also looking for some ideas on designs, does anyone still used wood cases? Any pics ? Years ago, used to see them, now its all flight cases... boring. Thanks and regards, Andy 🦋

Carbon Copies on Git Down - Label Variations?
Are these different label designs or is it just black sticker dots? If it's stickers, why and what is the significance?

Odd Labels?? Carbon Copies on Git Down
Has anyone noticed that different copies of this record look the same, but have a large black dot in different locations on the labels? Weird or What? Why would they do this????

CAROLINA SOUL ON EBAY
Interesting. But what I don't get, is why people would send a consignment of records to a dealer to sell on Ebay for them, what is the benefit of doing that. Why not just list them yourself? A genuine question, what is the reason, any ideas anyone?

Johnnie on the spot, Dennis Edwards.
Well, it just goes to show how time plays tricks on memory. I left the scene back in 81/82 and not to return until the late 90's, could have sworn that this was one of the latest of the records from the 'golden newies era' in the early 80's that Sam played. I even remember it on the decks covered-up. I think it may have been covered as 'Ronnie McNeir' but not sure. Can someone on here ask Sam about it, cause I'm starting think I'm losing the bloody plot!!
