On Top Of The World - The Stafford All-Nighters Podcasts
Chalky, just have say a big big thank you for all the Stafford podcasts. Being brought up on a diet of post-Stafford-late 80s-early 90s-100 club kind of Northern Soul TOTW seems like THE allnigher I wish I could have attended.

Ike & Tina Turner / Such A Fool For You
Just wondering, is this the same song as on the River Deep Mountain High album?

Del Rays Destination Unknown
Remember that too. Owner's name was Eddie, "Eddie's my name" on Parkway painted on it as well (on the front I think)

Quality Record Box Wanted
Black Adda cases are pretty good too. And much lighter than any alloy flight cases. I use a 200 count 2 row box for more than 15 years now w/out any problems. Records sit upright, easy to carry and can be padlock locked.

Patti & The Emblems Demo
about 250 I'd say. Demand peaked a few years ago tho it still packed the floor whenever I've heard it more recently.

The Tomangoes,$3.375 With 3 Days To Go,
Don't think so. It looks like it was printed off center but it sits pretty centered on the record. Edit: Fantastic record and I'm not surprised about the price.

Gregory Porter - 1960 What?
I think the album mix is fantastic Jazz music as is the whole album. The Ooompa Loompa mix or whatever it is called is crap.
-
Gregory Porter - 1960 What?
Which mix did you listen to? Only know the orig mix on the album. Great track, not soul though.

Lp Wanted: Magnetic Touch - Falling In Love With A Dream - Almeria Lp
Thanks but 80 quid is a bit steep IMO. Last 2,3 copies on Popsike went for around $50 each

Boot Or Not ?
Hard to tell from the scan in the auction if lettering is black or blue. If it's black 100% boot as already said.
-
Gregory Porter - 1960 What?
From a collector's point of view Cunnie is right and I see why he's upset. He bought the record on the understanding of a limited release, something that appeals to many if not most record collectors. From a record company/business financial view Expansion is right to press up more copies to satisfy demand. lose-lose situation IMO. I'm with Cunnie though.

Patti & The Emblems Demo
My rule of thumb was/is that the big "A" is black on the boot and red on the original. But are also red "A" boots around?
-
Patti & The Emblems Demo
Looks like my original. Boot has black "A" from what I remember.

Lp Wanted: Magnetic Touch - Falling In Love With A Dream - Almeria Lp
still looking. Anyone?

Total Memory Lapse Re Fastest Sound I Recall
That's the reissue/bootleg isn't it? Wasn't the orig on a yellow label?

7" Record "bag" Holds 80 45's - Whaddya Think?
There sure are. I think Daptone made them first many years ago. Jazzman did some a few years ago which I bought. Both look and are pretty similar to the one posted here. They're all padded pretty well yet because they aren't rigid I'd be afraid of discs cracking. Don't know if you guys are familiar with these plastic 7" boxes here: Had one lying around useless, cut off a bit. They now fit in precisely in the bag.

Sale: Chambers Bros. - I Can't Stand It - German Cbs
Yes you're right. Didn't know that when I posted the sale but was told about it later. Seems like most folks knew I was wrong anyway. Sorry for causing any confusion. Record sold anyway for a (IMO) very good price.
