Going Prices On These 45s
The 150 quid guide price is for the UK issue which I think is worth more like 75 in real life. German copy worth 50 max. I got my copy on Ebay for 1 Euro and was the only bidder, shows what sort of an in demander it is

Foreign Language Northern
The italian version of Jimmy Radcliffe came out in Italy on a jukebox 7", there's a scan of it posted somewhere on Soul Source. Motown released foreign versions of their bigger hits all over the world. I recall seeing spanish, french, italian and german versions done by Four Tops, Supremes, Temps, etc. The rarest and by far most collectable german releases are Temps "Mein girl" (my girl) (worth about 250 quid) and Marvin Gaye "Wie schoen das ist" (How sweet it is) (about 75 quid). The flipside to Marvin Gaye "Sympatica" is a german only release, written and produced by a german composer. But on the Northern Soul side of things the only non-english track I recall is the Tielmann Brothers "Viel zu spaet" which is a german cover of Bobby Goldsboro "Too late". Certainly not Soul by any means but at least of some sort of relevance to Northern.

Right on both accounts, UK issue pressed for the Belgian scene. big center hole and photostat label.- Keni Lewis - What's Her Name
Love it to bits but wouldn't play it out if I had a copy. The lyrics make me sit down and listen to it instead of wobbling around the floor to it...- What Is The Most Ever Paid For A Record?
Not soul, but on Google the first link see here "The world's most expensive record we could find has an estimated value of $180,000.00 USD. Unfortunately the only collection you will ever find it in is that of Paul McCartney. Recorded in 1958 by the Quarry Men, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, Colin Hanton and John Duff Lowe, the first pressing of their version of That'll Be The Day would be a jewel in any collection." - Marion Stewart - i Must Be Losing You
