Obscure - unusual Foreign Releases
Bri, do you have any reference table for dating the dutch TM 45's? The NL black label cat # seem to be same as german black label TMs. I could use it to pin down release dates of my german black label TM 45s.

New Mix On Mixcloud - Beautiful Philosophy
Thanks a lot. Will give it a try over the w/end. I record my own podcasts straight from the single deck w/out blending/mixing. Quicker than having to make wav files of the records first but not many options in mixing/equalising volume/etc.

Recorded And Released In The Uk
I always wondered how this UK release came about. Was it like a phone call to the UK MGM office "Hello London! We got a song here. Recorded by a bunch of High School musicians and a priest. We don't think anyone in the ex-colonies would buy it. But maybe you guys in old europe do?"

New Mix On Mixcloud - Beautiful Philosophy
Sebastian, does VirtualDJ work with audio files or audio input straight from the decks?

Outta Sight Label
Good question. I think they're legit but giving the number of releases they have it's hard to believe they got the rights for all of them.

Recorded And Released In The Uk
Dave, what pi**es me off is you tried to make your assumption to look like a fact. Anyway, I think it's not worth talking about that any longer. You said "few UK RECORDINGS DRIFTER". Do you mean UK covers of Ray Pollard? There's only one that springs to my mind and that's Long John Baldry. Are there any others? Speaking of LJB, we can add his take of the drifter to the list of UK recorded/released. Infact I think it's UK only isn' it? LJB's cover of the Ray Pollard flip "let him go" is another UK recording but was released at least in Germany and maybe other european countries.

Recorded And Released In The Uk
Don't know why I do this but anyway: Singer Ray Pollard - born in NY and spent most of his musical career there. Producer: Gerry Granahan, born in Pennsylvania. US east coast based singer, songwriter, producer Arranger: Arnold Goland, born in NY And now you tell me they all went to the UK to record "the drifter"? BTW, nobody has to prove you're wrong. It's you who has to prove he's right.

Recorded And Released In The Uk
We had that discussion three years ago. Or was it four years? Look up credits on both songs. They literally scream "New York". Your vague assumption is based on what? A paper clipping?

How Much Would You Pay
Mine's Mello Souls and JD Bryant on Shrine trophy item-wise. But if I really had a huuge amount of money I'd go to dealers with a bigger stock like Manship, Tim Brown and buy 1 copy each of every soul record they have.

Obscure - unusual Foreign Releases
They changed the design of german TM from green/silver to black around 1967/68 when EMI took over TM from CBS. I'm pretty sure the same happened in NL. Edit: Just looked up Discogs. The dutch Festival time is from 1971 and ties in with the UK issue on TMG 795 from the same year
