Whats all the fuzz about...ebay result quite rightly reflects its current price. I sold my last two copies at nearly exactly this price. One was condition wise teh same, the other slightly better. So often it happened and continues to happen that high end results have no influence at all on future auctions anyway. I can recall so many cases were copies which came on later on ebay went for significantly less than their predecessors...

Well said and done and if anyone ever needed a reason why to choose the original legitime (re-) release and why to boycott bootlegs this sure has to be one of the best reasons.

Hi Michael, they were not licensed in the true meaning of the term...the publisher used the 50-year-law in order to publish these...45s. At the moment one can publish any title older than 50 years without having to care about any copyrights or licensing at all. So does that make these Bootlegs ? No. Licensed re-releases ? stuck record...funny, thats what I think everytime I hear you telling the soul-source world over and over again that you are selling 45s at the lowest rate and how much more money you could make if you would demand prices top end just like so and so.. I did. In fact it wasn`t 20 minutes but a 5 minute conversation.

Some great LP`s indeed but none about Hi Q and Fortune alone. The Detroit -related comps covered Chex, Lupine and some mixed stuff from labels such Flick, Kudo etc.

Not quite but almost...Both, Andre Williams and Nathaniel Mayer were getting paid by Vampisoul in order to get the publishing rights to publish these tunes. Wether Nathaniel and Andre indeed were the right persons to negotiate about these copyrights I am not the one to say...

I found your statement about the moral difference between publishers and sellers of bootlegs silly to say the least. Thats why I did use a metapher to describe my opinion about that. It was you who sadly had nth better to add than just "yawn". Anyway, I won`t change the world especially not tonight, so all I have to say is I don`t like bootlegs being made, sold or whatever. Simple as that. Thats what I would also tell Mick. Except for him being a twat though as I must admit not to share that opinion of yours LOL

Believe me Phil, you will save youself a lot of money when you stop doing this. Everybody and his dog will bid you up till they have overbid you days before the auction ends and then in comes you again putting in a new top bid. Good for ebay and the seller but way too bad for the buyer...you.

Neither a single sale such as the current Magnetics one nor two copies of conner cagle from different sellers on ebay are indication of any kind of a find at all. If you have more/better informations please let us all know
