should of heard this ages ago, its ok, he can sing, the song is well...... bit pastiche really, and the whole thing a little on the derivative side for me folks. not knocking it cause itsa new, but he aint a patch on James Hunter. and not in the same league as nicole Willis, sharon jones or most of the timmion stuff.

Mad someone starting this, I was offered a pair of fantastic Ivy league Brouges @ Bidds last week, been offered some weird things @ nighters before, but never shoes, and Ive been after a decent pair of US wing tips fro ages! Unluckily they didnt fit, anyone know where I can find a pair of Walkover or Bostonians (like the ones I was offered) wing tips or even smooths? Deffo dont want english Grensons ect, just not the same as the real deal from the states!

Whe I used to attend in the mid 8ts the place was packed out with young mods and skins, not coming from that scene I dont know ,but thought, it was nationally going through a resurgence. Certainly seems that way when I look at some young kids around Manchester on a saturday afternoon. The shops are full of pendletons, barracuttas and the like retro music is uber- chic but this trend doesnt be transfering into fresh faces on the scene in the capitol at least, why? Rather than just letting any old p-heads in cant the capitols appropriate youth be specifically targeted. Lots of kids from back then have gone onto be major scensters so there is a definate chain of soul progress that mods, scooter kids and real skins used to follow has it been lost?

[The guests seem okay to me, I would personally like to see Arthur Fenn and Soul Sam among others guesting there. Perhaps Andy Dyson and Cliff Steele too (you can tell I like Lifeline and it's type of soul music). I'm sure there are plenty of other DJs that would be popular, mind has gone blank as I type this. Carl Herd maybe!
