I've also been in john moores shop a few times, bought a few bits off him, but my mate just browsed through the boxes and racks and didn't buy anything, he told him to get the f**k out of his shop and don't come back although he was with me, he turned really nasty and we saw his true feelings towards us. Never been in his shithole shop since. C**t

  9. By the way, Mexborough still hosts two good venues, The Corner Pocket (majestic suite) next one 2nd may, Empress ballroom, next one 24th april, both cracking venues

Used to go to brickyard when Pete Blinkho was running it, Empress, Civic, Lord conyers, conisbro Also, Adeles in denaby, this was the old Northcliffe WMC, converted into nightclub/funpub, soul night every wednesday with Bub and myself, attendance wasn't tops with it been wed night, but top sounds and atmosphere for those who turned up
