Wish I'd known before I pissed away a few at Capitol at the Dome couple of years ago! They sold quick, very quick at 350 pounds each, now I know why! Used to have a few, deadstock perfect, and last one got $900+, despite varied opinions of value! Only a couple left now, and I've been very conservitive with em' since I heard about the different mix. You are right, Pete; There is a big difference! Be carefull with it, it is very rare! I don't know ANY California record dealers or collectors who have turned any up other than the handfull I found, ever! Enjoy!

Sheesh, I saw Tommy Potts (hello lad) get near that ($500) for a lesser condition copy recently, so I figguuured ....I think a lot of people still dunno it well ennuff yet! I can say it is very rare, I found 3 recently and that all in nearly 12 years or so of knowing bout' it! And I'm from L.a., the origin of its release! I filed one, and the other in on ebay right now, part of our ridiculous 600+ piece insanity. How was tha condition of your copy, and when did you flog it, Pete? Has anybody heard Little Willie John's 1968 work for Capitol records, produced by H.B. Barnum? Incredible stuff, there's a whole unreleased (?) Lp, 2 known 12" acetates of it. One belongs to Mable John and was borrowed by Billy Vera in the early 90s, the other I purchased from Hb 4 years ago. 2 amazing Northern cuts, a decent funker, some nice slower or R&B stuff, etc. HB said he cannot issue it cause Capitol owns it. Maybe someone should pressure them into finally doing it, if they have their tapes still....
