  1. Sure there is another version of this....by The Four ?????...somethings or others, can't remember group name and never head it, but it's supposed to be good. Her best 45 has gotta be 'He tells me with his eyes' on Philips, quite hard to find, also covered by Patsy Ann Noble.
  2. Hi Russ, my old white demo of Jesse James was same label design as Lindas above your scan. Never seen your label design before. Anyone else?
  3. Jesse James is quite a hard one....at least £75 - £100. Had a demo about 2 years ago, not had another one since.
  4. Nice tune, I recently found a cheap one on a website. Carl Willingham has a French e.p. I believe (no surprise there then ) Also believe it came out on a Canadian label?

...and equally good flipside 'You lied' to boot....
  6. A nice Canadian copy went for a reasonable price on ebay tonight.... https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=220081590219

...or the memories of Ted giving me a tape thinking it was sales tape, when it actually had all your latest wants on it....

How come C90 tapes never get a look in on this age old debate. Nowt better.... Tw*t to cue tracks up when DJing though Never jump or stick either...though they can get caught up and jam player. B*stard things ...just remembered why I hate 'em. Time for bed.............
  11. What happens if you list... 'Most forms of payments accepted' or some other cleverly worded description that obviously 'implies' you accept cash without actually saying it? Once auction has ended it is still against ebay rules if the buyer asks to pay by cash and you accept?

Blimey...how many cracked records has he sold...
  18. Ha, rather see a show of hands for anybody on here who has seen me dance to 'owt (not a pretty sight!) Anyway, enough of hijacking this thread with the whining chorus of how much you lot hate these 2 tunes......it ain't gonna change the fact that they pack floors...
  19. Ho hum..the old Dean Barlow/Larry Trider thread...almost as refreshing as CD vs Vinyl etc........... Both tunes pack dancefloors at soul nights up and down the country....some of you don't like them...so what's new about this topic? Get over it and move on...
  20. Think there are a few different 45s of this nature from same source. Holly Maxwell, Chuck Wright included - usually white promos. Trouble is, on a scan, they look to be okay, but any mention of 'second pressing' or RE or RI in description, plus a quick search on sellers history to see if he/she has sold any in last month should usually ring a few alarm bells.
  21. Still laughing at that... Anybody on AOL should be aware ol the voice booming out 'You've got company' when some-one on your buddy list logs onto AOL. When it happened to Leon he though some f*cker had tapped into his p.c. so he shut it down and unplugged it from the mains... Near p*ssed me pants when he told me Tuesday night.......
  22. Got a VG+ blue issue plays ex for £150 if anybody wants it
  23. You came off 'lightly' (pardon the pun) I was gonna copy the pic into photoshop and stick loads of fuzzy felt shapes all over your shirt before posting it back up. Seemed too much work for a joke that only a select few would understand so I though bugger it, and watched 'A man with 2 brains' on telly instead....
