Mandy - have you actually ever secured a record from the offer of bon bons????? Every time I see your name in the sales section I just know that you will be offering some hopeful seller a bag of bon bons for an expensive piece of vinyl.

But surely non of those disco records you collect are worth more than 50p, so you'd be hard pressed to convince Ali that it was worth a tenner anyway!!!

It's called 'Grandfathering' as it is passed down based on previous info/restrictions etc and so named on a comparison to the idea that a Grandfather would pass his knowledge/experience etc onto his son, then his grandson etc...(if you get me drift) Maybe the Club was working outside it's original PEL restictions, especially if in a remote area....wouldn't be the first eh? A dodgy letter may have an effect on the owner/managers in such a case, especially with the new licenses being scrutinised at the present time. Just a thought like....

(yellow label I think) Has anyone heard Elaine Dunn 'If my teardrops could talk' also on capitol. Very similar in style, written by McCoy and arranged by H B Barnum? Very nice tune

Rick, our scene is rich with such fantastic tunes, and I think it's fair to say we're probably all very envious of you for finding such an item. Mind you, if I found such a rare record at a local boot fair or garage sale, and was watching the price rise steadily on ebay I'd be humming the bugger too!
