No, havent heard it... Any good? A soundfile will be of interesg of course. Wasnt there a few different versions of this one, all with the same backing track?
  9. Glad you enjoyed the mix Kev! I will definitely check out your latest playlists... Unfortunately not sure about March 2017 though... I will be in Switzerland the weekend before, but you'll never know. I'll let you know if I make plans to go.
  10. Hi! Got around to do a sweet soul podcast for anyone who wants to listen. It's a mix of a few cheaper 45s that I really like and a few rare classics. It is timestamped so you should be able to get the tracklist when you listen. Feel free to comment if you like it. Thanks! https://www.mixcloud.com/samuelhugosson/full-time-dream-sweet-soul/
  11. The New World release of Marvell Love is pretty cool as well...
  12. I really think this label looks cool. Comes in a blue/grey colour scale as well...
  13. So here's one for you all! It's a blend of a lot of styles from late 60s to 70s. A few rare and a few not so rare. Most of them have some sort of funky touch. Roy Robert, Don Gardner, the mighty Billy Young (one of my favourite artist lately) and the magnificent Brothers By Choice. I hope you all find something you will enjoy. Feel free to leave a comment if you enjoy the music!
  14. Oh that's sort of a hard one... My favourite French artist!
  15. There are two different issues of this one on Rouser right? One titled chick chick and one titled ain't no bragg... I've never seen the bragg version myself. Gotta be the rarest issue...
  16. Thought I'd share my latest mixcloud upload. Feel free to comment if you'd like. It's a mix of genres with some soul, some funk and some gospel. 60s mixed with mostly seventies for this one. Sherry Richard is a rare late Willie Tee production with a distinct dance beat. Hard hitting funk from the Christian Harmonizers and the Drifters (!). The Drifters "Be my lady" is my favourite version of this tune. The LP version of Debbie Taylors fantastic "Too Sad To Tell" which is a different and better mix from the one released on 45. I hope you enjoy listening! https://www.mixcloud.com/samuelhugosson/dont-get-caught-modern-crossover-funk-and-gospel-soul/
  17. I noticed upon recieving the 45 of her tune "Too sad too tell" that the 45 version is different from the lp version. As I like the lp version better, does anyone know if that version was released on 45? Thanks!
  18. Oh, so this was unissued? Brilliant track. I've been dying to know what it was for years...

Please PM to reserve. Standard airmail shipping is £4,30 within Europe. Tracking is possible but really expensive in Sweden where I live. Everywhere else please ask and I'll get back to you.The clips of the tunes are for reference and not the actual records for sale unless stated. Thanks for looking! I use M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G grading (no EX grade) Jerry and his Uniques - Yes he will/Lonely man - Lennan VG+ (surface marks, but nothing deep. Plays really well) £125 Fantastic double sided 45 with two dancers. And it's really rare... Hardly ever comes up for sale. Yes he will was played covered up at some point long ago, but it's the b-side Lonely Man that does it for me. This tune is begging for turntable action. Please listen to the actual soundfiles from the 45 on sale in the links below. Del Reys – Rosiland/Mama was right – New Breed (silver label) M- £75 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvD1KzfWr3A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yerHAPPDqX0 Billy Young – Glendora – Original sound VG++ £50 Art Ensley – Open the door to your heart – Shiptown VG- (sould be M- BUT has a small edgewarp. Plays through on my player with 3g weight (skips on less...) hence the low price £35 Fantastic version of the Darrell Banks classic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDumCaZjHas Opels – Who are you? - WoW M- Unknown girl group northern until a small quantity turned up a few years ago. £75 Listen at 16:48 in this mix https://www.mixcloud.com/samuelhugosson/getting-mighty-close/ Sweets – Satisfy me baby – yellow Soultown BOOT VG+ £15 (good looking playing surface but has edge chip not affecting play)

I think both 1&3 could probably be played at the right venue. However I don't feel that they are fantastic. 1 has a nice production but the melody and hook are kind of weak. 3 has a cool production which I kind of liked but the voice does not do it for me... Keep up the search! I know you will dig out cool tunes! :-)
  24. Lonely lover is a fantastic track and my favourite. Other side is not bad too.
